Church of San Giovanni

Brescia, Italy

An intervention dedicated to enhancing a 15th-century historical and artistic heritage.

The Parish Church of San Nicola Vescovo, already recorded in the Capitular Catalogue of 1410, dates back to the 15th century and represents an important historical and religious landmark for the community of Polaveno. The single-nave building preserves traces of 15th-century Lombard architecture, devotional frescoes from the 15th and 16th centuries, and 18th-century epigraphs along the outer perimeter.

The intervention aimed to restore the church to full functionality while respecting its historical and architectural identity.

A key element of the project is the installation of the MORE FTA system, an innovative radiant climate control system featuring low build-up height, low thermal inertia and high efficiency. Designed for listed buildings and places of worship, the solution ensures indoor comfort even with intermittent use of the building, while contributing to reduced energy consumption.
