The Restoration of the Church of San Rocco in Ospitaletto
A project that brings together the preservation of historical heritage and technological innovation.
The redevelopment of the Church of San Rocco began in 2018 with the restoration of the façade and continues today with a significant programme of restoration and structural consolidation. A building of great historical, religious and architectural value for the community of Ospitaletto, the church is the result of successive layers and contributions accumulated over time. Its origins date back to the first half of the 16th century, when it was built as a popular vow for protection against the plague.
Thanks to careful restoration work, the church has been returned to its former splendour and full functionality, while fully respecting its historical identity.
A key role is played by the MORE FTA underfloor heating system, an efficient and unobtrusive solution that integrates seamlessly with the existing architecture. The system allows comfortable indoor temperatures to be reached quickly, enabling intermittent use of the building while ensuring high levels of comfort for worshippers and significant energy savings.
A project that demonstrates how MORE technology can enhance historic heritage, combining comfort, efficiency and respect for tradition.
